Here’s a quick kitchen planning check-list for you to consider when developing your kitchen plan:-
- What is the style and age of your home?
- What is the size and shape of the space?
- What is your budget?
- What do you use the kitchen for (eg. is it for one person, two people, or a large family)?
- What appliances do you have and what other appliances (if any) do you need?
- Do you have existing décor that you’d like to match?
- Would you like laminate bench-tops or would you really prefer stone?
- Have you thought about what colours and finishes you’d like?

Some people are blessed with a clever eye for design. Sadly, most of us are not. If you can sketch how you’d like your new kitchen to look, that’s great.
