Based in Meadowbrook, 30 minutes south of Brisbane, we’ve successfully undertaken more than 25,000 kitchen and joinery projects across Brisbane, the Sunshine and Gold Coasts since 1995.

Imperial Kitchens employs local people, with more than 70 tradesmen, designers, installers and office staff. Many of our senior cabinetmakers boast more than 25 years of craft experience. Carmel Sales

DIRECTOR
OWNER
Purchasing a small cabinet making business in 2000, Carmel owns Imperial Kitchens, an industry-leading enterprise that now employs approximately 80 staff. Providing kitchens and joinery to dozens of Queensland’s most respected builders and countless Private Label clients, Carmel is justifiably proud of the standard of service provided by Imperial Kitchens. She thoroughly enjoys interacting with our Private Label clients and builders as often as possible, although finding the time to spend out of the office can sometimes be a challenge. Carmel’s positive influence ensures that Imperial Kitchens operates in a friendly, professional manner, while providing the excellent service that clients have come to appreciate and expect.

Andrew Wyborn

GENERAL MANAGER

Andrew is a people-focussed manager, dedicated to delivering a quality product while ensuring excellent customer service, and value for money. A dedicated family man boasting more than a decade of senior management experience in the manufacturing sector, Andrew’s management skills have been developed over years of overseeing operational, logistical, production and installation processes in the manufacturing environment. Andrew is a professional manager who values integrity and teamwork and sets high standards, engaging with staff to continually achieve quality outcomes across all areas of the business. Andrew promotes an environment of continuous improvement and personal development across all aspects of the business’ operations.

Dave Dolheguy

SALES MANAGER

Dave’s very clearly an expert in his field, bringing a wealth of knowledge and industry skills to Imperial Kitchens through a diverse range of previous sales-related roles he’s performed at senior management level. As Sales Manager, Dave oversees the sales functions in our Private Label department while developing strong relationships with new and existing builder clients. He is also a skilled “business coach” who is keen to share his considerable expertise to enable his team to achieve their potential. Dave’s primary focus is on relationship building and achieving a strong customer focus to ensure customer satisfaction.

James Hutchinson

LOGISTICS MANAGER
Since joining Imperial Kitchens James has gained considerable experience across a broad range of the company’s activities. He is currently responsible for scheduling all jobs and overseeing the activities of our installation and maintenance teams, while focusing on meeting our high quality and service standards. Leading a team comprising highly-skilled installers and communicating constantly with builders and Private Label clients, James strives to exceed our customer’s expectations , particularly with regard to timeliness, safety and quality control.

Gary Campbell

PRODUCTION/DRAFTING MANAGER
A highly skilled cabinet maker, kitchen designer and estimator with many years of dedicated experience, Gary has enjoyed a long, successful career at Imperial Kitchens. Starting work on the factory floor many years ago, Gary has worked diligently to become a highly respected member of the management team, focusing on developing and overseeing his team, providing our builders with a level of expertise very few can offer.

Alan Waddell

PROJECT MANAGER

With decades of cabinet making experience, Alan oversees installations, and services our builder-clients on a day to day basis. Alan schedules and co-ordinates installations, ensuring that our builder’s needs are met on time. The highly-skilled Installation and Maintenance teams who will install your new cabinets are supervised by Alan. Alan strives to ensure that every client is 100% satisfied before we leave your home, whether it’s a new build or a renovation.

Mal Pickering

PRIVATE LABEL DRAFTING MANAGER

A licensed builder and cabinet maker, Mal is highly skilled and knowledgeable about all facets of the business. Boasting 30 years’ experience across a range of disciplines within the industry, Mal has a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of builders and Private Label clients alike. Incorporating design, scheduling and quality assurance, Mal leads a skilled team of drafters who interpret and draft detailed design briefs that are ultimately sent to the workshop for manufacture and dispatch. Attention to detail is critical in Mal’s department and his team are dedicated to ensuring the kitchen and joinery designs of our clients are exactly what’s required.

Michelle Costin

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Joining Imperial Kitchens as a junior office assistant, Michelle has systematically developed a comprehensive understanding of the full range of financial and accounting requirements of the business. Providing in-house accounting services to management, Michelle also works closely with our external accountants and financiers. Michelle’s expertise is highly valued by the business, encompassing a broad range of accounting, payroll and compliance requirements, while also providing enthusiastic,  qualified support for those members of the administration team reporting to her.
